KBC Community

Play Group

Knightsbridge Baptist Church began the Play Group in a small way in 1973 because of its desire to help meet the needs of families with young children in our community. The church provides the facilities and management. All leaders and helpers are volunteers. They are approved by the church, have a National Police Certificate and are trained in child protection.

Two playgroups meet each week of the school term,

Tuesday 10.00–11.30am and Wednesday 10.00–11.30am

The aim is to provide parents and caregivers with opportunities for relaxation, support and relationships with other parents in a friendly, caring atmosphere while their children enjoy a safe environment for play, and activities indoors or in our Play Group garden. Children from birth to school age are welcome. The parent or caregiver who accompanies the child is fully responsible for the child/children in their care, which means staying throughout the whole session to provide supervision.  Regular attendance is required to maintain enrolment.
